Allocators treat the unlock calendar as a CSV. Team, investors, ecosystem; cliffs and linear vest; a date and a token count. That file is a starting exhibit. It is not the schedule that hits the book.

Tokenization is a record. It is not a credit enhancement, a custody upgrade, or a substitute for knowing what sits behind the record. The first capital-loss risk in a tokenized book is not a smart-contract bug and it is not a thin order book. It is an opaque underlying: an asset, a pool, or a legal claim that cannot be inspected, valued, or enforced on the same clock as the token that represents it.

Tokenized Treasury products and cash stablecoins are often filed under the same sleeve: “on-chain dollars.” They fail in different places. Treating them as substitutes is how a cash book discovers, on a weekend, that it holds a security.

An investment-committee memo is not a research note with a cover sheet. It is the document a partner can defend after the position has gone wrong. If the memo cannot be read that way, it is marketing.
